Team—
I understand you all just finished your gathering - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the good news. Previously I shared you all a note, I expressed the following: “I am confident in this crew. You all are some of the most driven and innovative creators we have had the chance to work with - and we’re looking forward for that partnership to endure.”
Given your hard work and adaptability, especially over the last year, you continue to prove that.
The community feedback from last fall’s Project ETHOS demo was revealing. It affirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but indicated we still had work to do. It revealed the requirement for a sharper identity.
The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the criticism to consideration and reimagined Project ETHOS with a refreshed goal - one that’s poised to deliver on its ambition to our players.
The belief in this project increases every day. To boost the outstanding advancement you’ve made, It is a pleasure to announce the new hire as the new Director of 31st Union. Following a period of discussions, Ben comes aboard us on Monday, October 20.
His management and experience in the competitive gaming genre is vast, having devoted the past decade and a half developing and managing some of the most popular series in the industry, including Call of Duty: Black Ops, and lately, Apex Legends.
Please join me in greeting Ben next week. We are all eager to persist observing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the weeks to ahead.
David
